TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms conditions constitute a binding contract between the customer and Rework Repair Ltd, our subsidiaries or agents. The customer accepts these T&C's by making a purchase, using/ sending an item for repair or service, paying a deposit or placing an order.
 

Turnaround times for services are estimates and may vary. Customers are responsible for backing up all data before using our services or leaving their device for repair. We may contact you if a format or backup of your device is required, but it's the customer's responsibility to request it in writing. We are not liable for any loss of data during the repair process, as software updates, restores, or resets may re-lock a device.
 

To improve our training, ensure customer satisfaction, and prevent fraud, we log and record all communication to and from Rework Repair LTD. This includes incoming and outgoing phone calls, SMS, Windows Live Messenger chat, emails & support ticketing system. All communication is treated with strict confidentiality, but we may use telephone calls as proof of verbally accepted quotes.

 

Customers confirm no sim cards, memory cards, or accessories are left with the device unless stated on their receipt. No refunds are given for special order items, estimate fee deposits, or shipping costs. Estimates and quotes are valid for 7 days from the date given.


We offer a 3-month warranty on sales and repairs, covering labour and any replaced parts. Items returned for recurring faults within the warranty period may be refunded for the latest repair. Warranty claims must be made and items returned within this period, as returns after this time frame will not be accepted. Removing or tampering with security/warranty labels will invalidate the warranty.

Within the 3-month warranty period, we will fix any recurring faults for free if caused by the same part we previously replaced. If the fault is unrelated or the warranty period has ended, we will arrange repairs at a mutually agreed charge as a goodwill gesture.


We commit to performing only necessary fault finding when working on your device, keeping all data strictly confidential and treating it as the owner's content. Personal information, such as customer databases, is treated with the utmost respect for data protection regulations. All data remains completely confidential while in our care, whether remote or in our workshop.


By authorising work, the customer permits Rework Repair Ltd to securely store and back up any necessary data upon the customer's request. This data will only be used for restoration purposes and will be destroyed upon work completion. Only Rework Repair Ltd's staff will have access to the secure computer or data storage device holding the information.



Rework Repair Ltd is not liable for any financial or non-financial losses, including loss of earnings or revenue, during repairs, support or any work, including guarantee work.

By using our service, you agree that Rework Repair Ltd is not responsible for any loss or accidental damage to items left for service due to attempted repair. Electronic repair processes can cause irreversible damage when factory seals are broken or components are disassembled. We reserve the right to replace your item with a similar item if it cannot be fixed. Items fixed for free do not carry any warranty unless it's within our warranty policy.
